Do you remember going through Driver’s Education? I do. One of the most profound lessons I was taught is how to aim high in driving.
What this means is to look at the road ahead not 2 feet in front of you. When you do this you will avoid many accidents.
Why? Because, when we look at the road further ahead of us we are able to see a lot more around us.
What they failed to tell us is, this concept applies to all areas of life! Every situation in life presents us with challenges and decisions to make. That’s just life!
And every choice we make has long-term consequences, either good or bad. So when we focus on ourselves or shall I say, 2 feet ahead, we are going to get into some accidents. At the very least you will end up off the right path for your life.
People will get hurt and the consequences could be devastating to many. You could even find yourself at the bottom of a cliff!
But when you “aim high in driving” the vehicle of your life, and think about the potential consequences, and how it will affect your loved ones or those who love you, you can make better decisions in life.
It’s those who think about the legacy they will leave who end up doing truly great things.
